spiritualinspiration: “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life” (Proverbs 4:23 AMP). When something is toxic, it’s poisonous; it can destroy you. When we go around dwelling on the wrong thoughts, thinking about what we can’t do or how we’ll never get ahead, those thoughts are toxic thoughts. Toxic thoughts left alone become like toxic waste that sinks into your heart. It will eventually contaminate your whole life. It affects your self-image. It affects your attitude, your level of confidence, and ultimately, your success. That’s why the scripture says to guard your heart because the condition of your heart and mind determine the condition of your whole life. Make the decision today to detox any negative, self-defeating thoughts by meditating on God’s promises instead. Make the decision to detox bitterness, detox low self-esteem, detox negative words that may have been spoken over you, detox condemnation. Make the decision to dwell on what God says about you. God says, “You are forgiven.” God says, “Your best days are in front of you.” God says, “I’ll restore the years that the enemy has stolen.” As you detox your mind and fill your thoughts with His promises, you’ll see His hand of blessing on your life. You’ll rise up higher, and you’ll live the abundant life He has for you!

Your Heart, my Heart

Ba!!! Please, please hold my heart. Because this heart is Yours and if it will held by myself alone I might break it, hurt it, take it for granted. Remind me Ba that it belongs to You and You have the final say. Today, I lift him up to You and whatever this I feel. I think I’m crazy to like someone I have not met (personally) and have come to know only through a friend’s stories. A simple wish for our paths to cross and know more than each other’s name. Well, this is a very very impossible situation but hey, all things are possible in You! So, I lift this up to You, Ba. Just like before, may You take it away if this is not from You and if this will not glorify You. Above anything else, I’m for You. 

He’s a source of inspiration Ba. Knowing who You are in His life and how his world completely revolves around You encourage me to keep doing the same. (Ba, qualified! I’m pretty sure I’ll come second to You in his life. Yes!) I’m blessed to somehow know him through a good friend’s set of stories about him. Thank You for I’m encouraged through him. May Your blessings and favors chase him always, making Your name famous in his life.
